📅 Liberating Structures Scrum Workshop — From Product Strategy to Roadmap to Sprint Review

TL;DR: Liberating Structures Scrum Workshop

Join us for another exciting LS Scrum workshop on September 7th, 2019, in Berlin. Following up on our first workshop, We will continue exploring LS microstructures, weave them into strings and apply those to Scrum’s soft underbelly — the product side, or figuring out what is worth building. Please note that participants should already understand Scrum as well as product management in general. Furthermore, first experiences with Liberating Structures, e.g. from a Meetup, would be desirable. The workshop language is English.

The LS Scrum training class will take place at the Alte Kantine Wedding on Saturday, September 7th, 2019, from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm.

Liberating Structures

Created by Keith McCandless and Henri Lipmanowicz, Liberating Structures cover a set of easy to learn, yet powerful ways to collaborate as a team—even as a (very) large team by Scrum standards—, overcoming traditional communications approaches like presentations, managed discussions, or another disorganized brainstorming at which the loudest participants tend to prevail.

Liberating Structures provide well-suited facilitation tools to overcome organizational impediments with regard to product strategy, product management, the Product Backlog, the Sprint Planning, the Sprint Review as well as stakeholder collaboration. Learn the techniques to foster collaboration across all hierarchical levels, to include customers, to overcome local optimization efforts, and finally figuring out what is worth building — beyond personal agendas and sub-optimal incentive schemes.

If you are working as a Scrum Master, agile coach, or Product Owner, this LS Scrum class provides the necessary experience with the best tool available to meet the essential objective of every agile practitioner: deliver value to our customers continuously while maximizing the amount of work not done.

Workshop Essentials

This LS Scrum class is an advanced Liberating Structures Scrum workshop. The class is not suited for absolute beginners to Liberating Structures. Also, you need to have a good understanding of both Scrum as well as product management in general
